Holm-Sørensen is best known for the … Read more This 1950's Danish iconic metal table lamp was designed by Svend Aage Holm Sorensen. Holm-Sørensen is best known for the wide range finely made light fixtures, furniture, and small items. This table lamp has small linear cut-out shapes at the end of the shade, allowing small bits of light to escape from the sides and create illumination. The lamp stands on an asymmetrical metal base that contributes to its unique shape. The stem between the base and shade is brass. The lamp's power cord has been professionally rewired for US use. Dimensions: 16" H X 6" W X 12 D". The lamp's wear is consistent with age and use. There are a few scuffs and rubs to the finish on shade and brass, which do not impact its use or cosmetic appeal.
