The toy company, known for their Pioneer lineup, prominently featured a distinctively shaped crest and shield on their velocipedes during the 1920s. In the center of the seat is the corporate logo from that era, indicating the bicycle was made before the company merged with American National.
The shield has a winged star design with block lettering spelling “Pioneer” and the date the company was founded. The original Bell tires, pedals, handlebars, and the beautifully aged red and black paint with gold trim are all original to the piece, with no restoration work done.
