Italian secretary desk signed Mobili Barovero Torino, in exotic wood veneer, circa 1950-1960.
An elegant and functional piece with a modernist line typical of post-war Italian design, resting on slender, tapered legs.
The upper section of the front features a large open bookcase with shelves, while the central section houses a drop-front writing surface with interior storage space.
The lower section opens with two doors and a series of five side drawers with integrated, carved handles.
