I have always loved the abstract nature of clouds and often focus on the sky when I paint my landscape paintings. These are loose, spontaneous oil paintings done on small canvas panels out in nature. After the oils dry the painting is varnished for protection. The frame for this piece is an ornate gold leaf vintage frame with a lot of patina from age and an off-white painted inner border.. Please note the gold leaf in this frame is chipped and the paint is distressed which gives it character. The overall size of the piece is 14"x12" with the inner painting at 10"x8". Signed on the back, ready to hang. This would be a nice size for a gallery wall or tucked in a bookshelf. This is an original oil painting by Suzanne Nicoll. See less
