Up for sale is an incredibly rare and magnificent artwork by the Surrealist master Salvador Dalí, titled "The Builder", known in Spanish as "El Constructor". This breathtaking piece is a centerpiece from Dalí’s highly acclaimed 1970 Professions of Man suite (sometimes referred to as The 11 Professions of Man), which was originally created as a series of intricate watercolor and gouache paintings before being masterfully translated into this premium medium.
Unlike a traditional paper print, this piece is a vibrant color serigraph / screen print executed directly onto a reinforced .925 sterling silver plated matrix.
Commissioned by Tobo Arte of Milan, Italy, this luxury edition beautifully merges Dalí's signature dreamlike, expressive linework with a metallic dimensionality. The polished silver catches ambient room light dynamically, creating an incredible glow against our deep matte black custom framing. Because the full intended edition was never completely realized, individual plates from The Professions are considered quite scarce and highly sought after by world-class Dalí collectors.
This piece comes beautifully housed in a premium presentation, ready to hang immediately in a luxury home, executive office, or private gallery setting.
