The tabletop rests atop an uncommon six-leg pedestal base crafted from figured walnut.

With the two included leaves, it expands from a 48 inch round to a 72 inch pill, accommodating up to 8 guests. The base expands with the table in order to maintain stability at all sizes.

We’ve been unable to identify a maker, but the use of extension slides from Walter of Wabash indicates an American build. It resembles tables by Glenn of California and Brown Saltman from the same era.

The table has been fully refinished and shows beautifully, with traces of prior visible only on close inspection. See less
