Made from various types of marble and gemstone including: Rosso Levanto, Giallo Sienna, Verde Alpi, Onyx, Crema Marfil, Granite, Rhodochrosite, Lapis Lazuli, Rosa Portugal, Rosso Verona, Verde Guatemala, Travertine, Imperial Porphyry, and Noir Belge. The Grand Tour (popular from the 17th to the 20th century) was an extensive tour of Europe, primarily France and Italy, undertaken by young, wealthy aristocrats (often from Great Britain).
