This functional statement piece combines traditional country-house elegance with practical storage for narrow entryways and hallways. The front features a beautifully grained solid oak frame with sweeping, decorative "tree" branches fitted with sturdy wooden pegs for coats and hats. The center houses a vertical vanity mirror and a scalloped glove box console shelf, sitting above a fretwork cutout base panel designed for umbrellas and walking sticks. The back reveals the true heritage and craftsmanship of the piece, utilizing a solid pitch pine central spine. This secondary timber shows a rich, deep aged patina, natural knot bleeding, and authentic hand-cut tool marks that tell the story of its 100+ year history. See less
