Hans Martin Freyer (1909-1975), who created, among other things, the VW logo, was one of the most renowned German designers and graphic artists of the 20th century. This black bisque vase, with its striking reliefs in the style of Brutalism and Op Art, is one of the designs in the "Studio Line" series he created for Rosenthal between 1964 and 1974. A vase from this series, with its impressive height of 44 cm, is a rare find! This piece has an attribution mark,
