A traditional subject of popular devotion, Saint Joseph, the foster father of the Baby Jesus, is depicted in a pose of great tenderness, holding the baby Jesus in his arms, who offers him a lily, the saint's iconographic symbol of purity. Previously restored and relined, the painting is presented in a period frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
