The Boys at the River is about tenderness in the open air — about being seen by sunlight instead of shadows. The nude figures stand, wade, and move through the water without self-consciousness.
The lush greens and deep forest tones create a protective canopy, almost like the land itself is sheltering them. The sky opens in soft pinks, blues, and lavenders — colors that quietly echo queerness without declaring it.
Their bodies are relaxed, unguarded. There's a sense of first freedoms here. First swims. First glances. First moments of feeling safe in your own skin.

Coated with a semi gloss varnish for protection and luster. Signed on the front and back. Wired and ready to hang. The sides of the gallery wrapped canvas are painted so no need to frame
