Antique hand forged cast iron cattle dehorning primitive farm tool, making for excellent wall art, as it hangs perfectly on it's own without needing anything but a nail in the wall.
This maker of this piece is embossed on the front ~ "Elgin No. 3".
The tool still opens and closes if you want to position it a certain way for display.
Very minor age related wear and very minor extra cleaning, may possibly be needed or found. Nothing unexpected and overall looks good to go now in my opinion.
As you see it hanging up in my photos, it measures 38.5" long X 8" wide.
