An iconic set of “The Ant” chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen — one of the most celebrated designs of 20th-century Scandinavian modernism. Model 3101 is known for its sculptural, organic form and excellent ergonomics.
This set consists of 6 chairs featuring blue molded plywood seats with chromed steel legs. All chairs bear original Fritz Hansen manufacturer labels.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. The chairs show authentic signs of age and use, including minor scratches, edge wear, and patina, consistent with their age. Structurally sound and fully functional.
Each chair has the “Svendborg Gymnasium” branding burned into the backrest — it definitely adds to the charm.
