Materials: ceramic, fabric lampshade. “connection lamp” celebrates invisible connections through intertwined and fluid forms, a lamp that unites light and sculpture. Hand-modeled with dedication in my portuguese studio, with subtle variations making each piece unique. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the usa it will be wired for the usa for instance. Please note the light bulb is not included, allowing you to select the ideal brightness for your space. This piece is available in a wide range of hand-painted finishes from the artist's signature palette. All the pieces are made and painted by hand, they are unique and unrepeatable. There may be slight variations, with the photographs being as close to reality as possible, as colors may vary slightly from one piece to another. All pieces are signed and numbered by the ceramic artist "liliana silva", and are accompanied by a ''certificate of authenticity''. The future of the past my work born from a memory of my grandfather and my dad, of the days spent in my grandfather old factory in the city of barcelos, where many people worked, and the production was still very artisanal, the wheels 'of the rodistas' were manual and all the kiln were wood fired. The transmission of values and knowledge of the entire of the process , combined with nostalgia for the past, gives rise to the desire to give new life to what is part of my past, but a new modern and contemporary 'outfit'. So i'm back to my roots that gives me all the freedom to fly.
