Royal presentation vessel issued under king christian ix of denmark, crafted by e. F. Dahl, copenhagen, dated 1904. Richly decorated in the danish art nouveau style with repoussé and chased ornamentation, laurel motifs and commemorative medallions. The upper band bears the royal inscription “udsat af kong christian ix – 3. Juli 1904”. Marked with the danish three-tower silver hallmark and 826 silver standard. An impressive museum-quality example of early 20th century scandinavian ceremonial silver craftsmanship this piece has an attribution mark,
