A unique pair of Art Deco bedside tables from the 1930s – a combination of striking formal elegance and exceptional material effect. The expressive burl wood veneer creates a vibrant, deep grain that is beautifully accentuated by the dark stain and high-gloss finish. Drawers, open shelves, and cabinet compartments offer a successful blend of functionality and authentic Art Deco design.
The bedside tables are made of veneered particleboard.
They have been sanded, stained dark, and finished with a glossy lacquer. The original glass tops and their supports, as well as the brass handles, are retained. The glass tops show slight signs of age in the form of small scratches and a chip on the back edge of each.
