The proportion between seat depth and backrest height is generous; the coarsely woven textile upholstery evenly structures the surface and softens the solidity of the volume. Design Context: The body is crafted as a closed mass without a visible substructure. All transitions—from the armrest to the seat, from the body to the base—are rounded and seamless. The four short legs are covered in the same fabric as the rest of the armchair, thus visually blurring the boundary between the body and the base. The closed volume of the body contrasts formally with delicate historical pieces without competing with them. The muted mauve-gray tone of the upholstery echoes aged light wood tones and white-gray plaster surfaces. In the room, the armchair appears as a compact, freestanding volume with a low silhouette. Features: Fully upholstered frame without visible substructure or seams at the transitions. Four short, rounded, upholstered feet as an integral part of the overall volume.
