Antique 19th Century Japanese bronze vessel, Edo period. Of lobed form, raised on four feet shaped as waves, the body decorated in high relief with two coiled dragons among clouds against a densely carved archaic-patterned ground. The base is signed Suiun Chu within a rectangular reserve.
