This solid wood armchair features an architectural structure resting on a straight base with clean, balanced lines. The slightly curved solid backrest is framed by rectilinear uprights extending into angled armrests, giving the piece a graphic silhouette characteristic of French modernist furniture from the 1950s.
The upholstered seat is covered in olive green velvet, creating an elegant contrast with the warmth of the wood. Traditional joinery and quality craftsmanship reflect the care given to its construction.
The chair retains a beautiful vintage patina consistent with age and remains in very good overall condition.
