These two large Chinese figurines depict an imperial dignitary and his wife dressed in rich traditional robes adorned with medallions and finely hand-painted symbolic motifs. The vibrant colors—imperial yellow, deep red, green, and blue—give the set an exceptional decorative presence.

Each figure features numerous refined details: traditional headdresses, jewelry, a scepter, and ceremonial accessories, testifying to the craftsmanship of Chinese workshops at the end of the Qing dynasty. The delicately modeled and glazed faces lend these pieces great elegance and expression.

The statuettes rest on stamped bases beneath the porcelain.
