Each block has a geometric grid cubed pattern that beautifully catches and reflects the light, giving the lamp wonderful sparkle and dimension from every angle.

The glass column is paired with polished chrome fittings and a substantial stepped square base with a cast iron interior and small raised feet. The combination of chunky geometric glass, reflective chrome, and strong vertical lines gives the lamp an almost skyscraper-like quality with wonderful Art Deco influence.

I especially love the architectural quality of this piece. It feels elegant and sculptural while still clean and modern, and the deeply textured glass comes alive in the light. It has considerably more presence in person than the photographs capture.

The lamp has a UL-listed socket dated 2007 and appears to have been rewired at some point in its life. Beautiful on a console, nightstand, bar cabinet, or side table.
