This subtle designs allows for the lamp to be positioned at a typical 42" reading chair height but can also extend upward to 24" more for overall ambient lighting glow. This minimal forms brilliant design is highlighted by an intentionally patine'd Bronze finish detail to the solid Brass structure that accentuates its' highly Architectural design. This unique original Laurel design has been reproduced and plagearized over the decades by other manufactures, often with lesser quality materials, but this is the original design in its first production noted by its' rare Bronzed finish. The ideal patine'd Bronze finish base shows just minor signs of age or wear with the telescoping feature operating smoothly and straight with just a touch of vertical play when first repositioning its height. The original 3 way socket switch has been rewired with new Brown Rayon wrapped insulated power cord which has been inspected, tested and is clean, safe and functional.
