A monumental sculptural deer mount produced by Sarreid Ltd. during the 1970s, combining polished brass, natural stag antlers, and a dramatic architectural presentation associated with the Hollywood Regency and Spanish Revival movements of the period. Executed with an exaggerated elongated form, the stylized brass stag head is mounted against a black lacquered backing and raised on an integrated plinth base, giving the work the presence of both a wall trophy and freestanding table sculpture.

The removable natural antlers lock into cast brass sockets, allowing the sculpture to be displayed assembled or dismantled for transport and installation. The scale is particularly impressive, with the sweeping antlers extending nearly 28 inches wide and rising to an overall height of 35 inches. The contrast between the warm satin brass surface and naturally weathered antlers creates a refined balance between organic material and modernist glamour.

Sarreid became known during the 1960s and 1970s for producing dramatic decorative objects blending European craftsmanship with highly stylized interpretations of traditional forms.
