A striking and highly decorative French Belle Époque two-light candelabra lamp, circa 1890–1910, blending neoclassical refinement with exotic Chinoiserie influence. Centered by a vividly glazed turquoise flambé foo dog (guardian lion), the composition reflects the late 19th-century European fascination with East Asian forms interpreted through a Parisian lens.

The sculptural foo dog—modeled with animated expression and a curling mane—symbolizes protection and prosperity, while the surrounding gilt bronze framework introduces classical symmetry and elegance.
