A graceful Art Deco–style figural sculpture after the works of Ferdinand Preiss, depicting a standing female nude with flowing drapery and raised arms in a poised, classical gesture.

The figure is executed in an early composite material developed as an alternative to ivory (often referred to as “ivorine” or celluloid-based composition), showcasing warm tonal variation and fine detailing throughout the facial features and drapery folds. The sculpture is signed “F. PREISS” at the base.
