The central body protrudes slightly forward compared to the two side modules.
The wooden profiles applied to the glass form elongated ovals that intersect to create pointed arches. This light design, combined with the hand-carved acanthus leaf finials, defines Anglo-Saxon neoclassical elegance.
The piece balances the slender verticality of the three upper glass panels with the solidity of the closed base. The lower panels are embellished with square studs at the corners of the frames.
The lower side door panels feature burl wood with a visually striking flamed grain.
The back of the structure features hand-cut dovetail joints and the use of secondary 19th-century structural woods.
The backrest and the (adjustable) shelves of the riser are covered in light fabric. See less
