Striking vintage satin-frosted Art Glass Globe, not signed but, attributed to either Phoenix Glass Company or Consolidated Lamp, featurs an elegant relief-molded design of crested cockatiels nestled among tropical foliage, trailing vines, and berries.
*** In 1932, Phoenix resumed art glass production using 45 to 50 molds from the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company, which had been forced to close because of the Depression ***
The pink/Mauve glass has a satin finish that highlights the three-dimensional motif.
The design reflects the romantic French-inspired Art Deco styling popular during the late 1920s and 1930s.

In VERY GOOD pre-loved, used and admired vintage condition ,no chips, cracks, or flea bites.
I have lightly dusted the exterior of this gorgeous art glass globe using a soft makeup brush, but I am leaving any further deep-cleaning entirely up to the new owner's discretion.

In certain lights the Globe appears Mauve Pink, under other lights a lighter shade of Pink.
I over exposed some of the photos (the Globe looks almost White) so that the details of the design were clearer.
A wonderful statement piece for pendant lighting, ceiling fixtures, or as part of an Art Deco or Hollywood Regency interior.
