Couroc of Monterey, founded in 1948, produced a line of decorative items made of a proprietary phenolic resin material that resembled ebony wood and was water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant. Its unique designs were created by members of Monterey Bay’s famous art colony.
Featuring hand inlaid motifs made of natural materials such as shells, coins, brass, and wood veneers insured that no two items were exactly the same. In good vintage condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including a few minor surface imperfections and two flea bite chips on the rim and a spot of green both on the tidbit server due to age and use. No cracks or repairs. See less
