Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, each chair has a slight imperfection whether rust, slight pitting, fabric snags, or stains. They bear an all-over patina showing use & wear as you would expect with a vintage piece. This is a spectacular set of six gray and chrome cantilever chairs made by United Chair Company beautifully comprised of gorgeous chrome cantilever frames with black plastic armrests, and they wear their original awesome gray tweed fabric with button detail on their backs and seat cushions. The fabric is cool because in different lights, the color changes a little. It’s kind of gray, kind of blue, and has little orange and yellow specs throughout… It takes on the color of what you set it with. They are designed in the style of Steelcase or Marcel Breuer’s Cesca chair which he originally designed in 1928 for Thonet. Cool fact… That chair design was named after his daughter “Francesca” and is referred to as being among the 10 most significant chairs of the 20th Century by MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art.) They are super stylish and extremely ergonomically pleasing… like NEXT LEVEL comfort!! They bear a mostly Modern style, but they would definitely blend in beautifully with Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, or Bauhaus styles. They would be fabulous surrounding your dining or office conference table.
