A compelling 1960s American studio ceramic vase featuring an expressive hand applied abstract motif that climbs vertically across the surface like a winding vine or serpent. The softly speckled grey glaze is accented by rich blue, ochre, and mossy green tones, with natural iron deposits and kiln variation adding depth and movement throughout.
The cylindrical form is finished with a substantial rolled rim, giving the piece a grounded architectural presence often associated with Mid Century Modern and organic studio pottery traditions of the era. The flowing glaze work and earthy palette make it especially well suited for Japandi, wabi sabi, and collected modern interiors.
Hand signed on the underside.
