Vintage Karl Raichle Meersburg Hand Hammered Tinned Brass Roasting Dish & Warmer - Bauhaus
This is a signed piece of MEERSBURG German Copper Cookware by Karl Raichle (1889-1965). Features on oval shaped hand hammered brass roasting pan or fish poacher with lid and warming stand., lid and pot are tinned. Stand has wells to hold warming candles. Raichle studied at the Bauhaus in the 1920s before starting the Forge Karl Raichle in Meersburg, Germany in the 1930s. This cookware is very collectible and hard to find. Dates to c.1930s-50's. Measurements with dish on stand: 6" H x 13.5" W x 6.75" D. Age appropriate wear and patina.
