An elegant daybed with a refined, minimalist design dating back to the 1930s and attributed to Giò Ponti and Emilio Lancia.
Dating back to Giò Ponti's rationalist designs from the second half of the 1930s, its clean, horizontal wooden bases with integrated bolster cushions are recognizable.
The frame is made of walnut with burl wood accents, featuring clean, geometric lines and a solid, sculptural base.
The seat features a padded mattress upholstered in fabric. The distinctive feature is the cylindrical cushion (bolster headrest) attached to the frame, a typical feature of this piece.
Completely restored, with new padding and upholstery.
