Inspired by the fluid symmetry of 18th-century Rocaille design, each drawer is framed by contrasting lighter wood trim and accented with ornate, asymmetrical gilded ormolu drawer pulls. Further cast-brass mounts flank the shoulders and trim the lower scalloped apron, leading to elongated cabriole legs tipped with polished brass sabots.
The top surface holds a custom, protective removable inset glass plate that rests flush within a delicately scalloped, solid wood gallery rail, safeguarding the fine wood parquetry underneath.
