Hand created with the highest quality materials, the vase is decorated with raised embossed detailing on a stunning multicolor fish design that symbolizes abundance and good fortune. A slip trail of traditional Turkish florals enhance the neck and handles. Measuring approximately 14 inches in height and 8.5 inches in diameter, this large vase has a 2” opening and is signed by the artist at the base. A few tiny specks of glaze skipping, which occurred in the kiln during its creation, can be seen in areas of the raised embossing on the fish. This is a common occurrence when firing pottery and ceramics, it isn’t casually noticed or distracting , and does not affect the value, beauty, or integrity of this piece. Light shelf wear is present at the bottom of the base. Otherwise the vase is in beautiful heirloom condition with no chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections.
