Colorful cloisonne hibiscus … Read more For your consideration are a pair of vintage silver wire Japanese cloisonne enamel vases by Akagi Shoten. Colorful cloisonne hibiscus flowers artistically created meander across the vases central area against a bright canary yellow ground. Silver edging that is polished to a brilliant luster enhances both the top and base rims. Standing approximately 7.25" and measuring 4" in diameter, the vases have differing shapes but is so slight it isn't casually noticed or distracting. Each vase is fitted with a designated carved wooden stand which is included, the total height with the stand measures 8.25". Dating to the 1940s and obviously well cared for over the decades past, they are in beautiful vintage condition with no cracks, damages, or prior repairs found.
