The crystal globe sits securely on its original, premium heavy cast brass plinth base. The square base is designed with timeless scrolled bracket feet and is officially stamped by the renowned American foundry, Crescent Brass Mfg. Co. (Reading, PA)—a manufacturer highly celebrated for supplying elite brass hardware to luxury lighting companies and glass houses during the mid-to-late 20th century.

Between the density of the hand-cut crystal and the solid brass construction, this is an incredibly heavy, substantial piece that offers gorgeous light refraction, bouncing brilliant prisms across the room when lit.
