It features a classical design with extensive carved and figural inlaid decoration throughout. The side panels are particularly notable, depicting a finely executed inlaid scene of Prometheus chained to a mountain with an eagle, a powerful motif from classical mythology. Further carved details embellish the cornice, door frames, and base, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. The upper section presents two glazed doors, opening to reveal interior shelving suitable for books or display items. Below, two drawers are adorned with intricate inlay work and fitted with decorative brass pulls.
