Vintage postmodern sculptural side table or pedestal featuring a twisted hourglass form and heavily textured plaster finish. The clean monochromatic finish and organic shape give the piece a strong architectural presence while remaining versatile enough for a range of interiors.
Likely dating to the late 1970s or 1980s, the design reflects the plaster-finish and biomorphic furniture styles popular during the period, reminiscent of work by John Dickinson and other California designers of the era.
