Gorgeous Vintage Signed Framed High Desert Landscape Oil Painting, Painted en Plein Air, Circa 1990’s.
Evocative oil on board of a Sandia Mountain high desert location, Santa Fe, NM.
Rich deep colors. Beautiful brushwork. Professionally framed in an expensive fluted and peppered pale wood frame. Signed bottom left. Additional attribution on verso.
Richard Brunson is a listed plein air artist who has traveled and painted in Europe, Africa and throughout the U.S. He settled in Santa Fe in 1991 to focus on painting the Southwest. A graduate of West Point, Babson College (MBA) and Michigan State University (PhD), Brunson’s work has been shown in fine art galleries in Houston, West Palm Beach, Tucson, Scottsdale and Santa Fe, among others.
