An Italian Majolica lidded tureen embellished with hand-painted burgundy radishes with green leaves. The domed lid is finished with a green and pale purple trimmed artichoke with long stem and leaves. The colors and textures are rich and the piece has a lovely glaze. The tureen has never been used.
This is a statement piece, showcasing European Majolica as well as the elegance of Tiffany decorative tableware before it was acquired by LVMH. The underside is marked “Made in Italy. Exclusively for Tiffany & Co.” A tasteful decor centerpiece for a dining table or an elegant serving piece. Perfect condition.
