Magnificent large Bodenvase by Edmé Samson et Cie, Paris, circa 1870–1890. Masterfully hand-painted in the classic Ottoman Iznik style with vibrant polychrome decoration featuring bold saz leaves, tulips, carnations and floral motifs in rich cobalt blue, turquoise, and characteristic bole red on a brilliant white ground.
Marked “M1” on the base.
In excellent condition with strong glaze and vivid colors. A striking decorative statement piece with museum-quality presence.
