GIFT WORTHY

This ashtray was designed by George Thompson for Steuben in the 1950s. This classic ashtray has beautiful clarity in the crystal and features a thick bowl one end being higher than the other. The crystal is hand blown and has an applied glass decoration on the lower side. Although originally designed as an ashtray this lovely piece could be used as a mint or candy dish.

Measures approximately 2 3/8" high

Purchased from Steuben to give as a gift more than 4 decades ago and recently uncovered it still in a cabinet when I downsized and moved to a smaller home.

Kept in NO smoking and Pet-free home

Steuben is now closed (2011), so no more new beautiful crystal will be produced. The secondary market will be the only source for gorgeous Steuben.

The piece is in MINT condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is still bubble wrapped in the original Steuben box since purchase. Signed with etched "Steuben" signature.
