Each has … Read more A striking pair of French Empire gilt bronze candelabra, wired as lamps and fitted with pleated white shades. Each has three arms issuing from a central orb supported by a pair of cast bronze swans, a quintessential Empire motif. The tapered shaft below is chased with a spiral leaf pattern, rising from a cylindrical drum with fine crosshatch engraving on a square plinth base. The casting and chasing throughout is of good quality. See less
