Designed and signed by Larry Toschik (1922-2012) who almost overnight went from obscurity to international recognition as one of the world’s greatest wildlife artists.
Original embossed maker’s mark on the bottom. Would make a lovely gift for Father’s Day or any time of the year! This piece embodies the Couroc claim- “Any tray can serve a drink. Only Couroc can start a conversation.”

Couroc of Monterey, founded in 1948, produced a line of decorative items made of a proprietary phenolic resin material that resembled ebony wood and was water, burn, stain, and detergent resistant. Its unique designs were created by members of Monterey Bay’s famous art colony.
Featuring hand inlaid motifs made of natural materials such as shells, coins, brass, and wood veneers insured that no two items were exactly the same.
