Known as Zun, these sculptural, animal-form containers were historically utilized by royal elites and aristocrats to hold sacrificial wine during ritual ancestral ceremonies bird. This is an antique version mimicking an ancient vessel.

The vessel is modeled after a plump, standing bird—traditionally an owl or a mythical phoenix—supported by its thick legs and downward-sweeping tail feathers which serve as a stable tripod base.

The heavy turquoise and green encrustation on the surface mimics the natural malachite corrosion found on ancient excavated bronzes.

Features stylized relief designs, including spiral wing feathers reminiscent of traditional thunder patterns and ancient zoomorphic motifs.

Unfortunately, he has lost his top, so sold as is. Would be cute used as a flower pot.
