It features leather-clad wood with solid brass trim, protective strapping, reinforced corners, and original hardware. This trunk features a warm time-worn patina acquired over decades of travel and use. It reflects the transition from the high-domed trunks of the Victorian era to the flatter, stackable cabin trunks favored during the golden age of steamship and rail travel.
