From the exclusive "Stately Homes Collection" by Baker Furniture
USA, Circa 1980s
Carved mahogany, with boxwood and rosewood inlays, tooled leather top, and original brass hardware.
Measures: 62.75"W x 44.75"D x 28"H.
Very good original vintage condition.
This desk is part of the prestigious Stately Homes Collection by Baker. This 20th Century reproduction is modeled after the original that was part of the collection of Britain's Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli. This desk is unique to the current market, and very few were ever made. The original desk was produced circa 1790.
