Extremely rare Slovak Haban faience tankard (Walzenkrug), dated 1662.
Hand-painted with a bold floral bouquet in cobalt blue, yellow, and black on a white tin glaze. Complete with its original pewter lid marked "WM".
Published reference example in the book Ceramic Art of the Habans (Diána Radványi / László Réti, 2011).
A museum-quality Haban ceramic from the 17th century – highly sought after by serious collectors.
