This glazed and embossed German Majolica taza or cake stand features hand-painted grape leaves and purple wine berries. Of note is its historical significance. The stamp on the underside identifies this piece as having been manufactured right after WWII between 1945 and 1949 in the American-controlled occupation zone of Germany. Always love something with a story. In perfect condition and just the perfect addition to a green Majolica collection.
