This striking mid-century modern bottle vase was produced by the renowned Scheurich Keramik of West Germany during the 1970s. A classic example of the "Montignac" form (Model 281-30), it features a tall, cylindrical body with a subtly flared neck.
The piece is finished in a beautiful two-tone earth-toned glaze. The lower two-thirds consist of a smooth, matte terracotta finish, while the top third transitions into a rich, glossy olive and ochre speckled glaze that mimics natural stone or lichen. The base is clearly marked "281-30 W. GERMANY." A sophisticated addition to any collection of West German Pottery or a clean-lined MCM interior.
